We are excited to announce that Pets First! Wellness Center will be hosting a pet vaccination and licensing clinic in our town. This clinic is a great opportunity for you to ensure the health and well-being of your beloved pets, while also fulfilling the necessary licensing requirements.

Here are the details of the clinic:

Date: May 25th, 2024 (Saturday)

Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Location: Main Street Park

At the clinic, Pets First! Wellness Center will be offering pet vaccinations for $25.00 per pet. Payment can be made in the form of a check or cash. If paying with cash, we kindly request that you bring exact change to expedite the process.

In addition to vaccinations, we will also be providing animal licensing services. The fees for licensing are as follows:

- $10.00 for animals that have been neutered or spayed

- $20.00 for animals that have not been neutered or spayed

Please note that if you do not plan on attending the clinic, late fees to register your dog will be implemented starting on June 3rd. The late fee will amount to $15 per dog. Furthermore, we would like to remind you that our services will officially commence on April 1st, 2024. If you intend to register your dog before this date, the registration fee will be $10 if your dog is neutered or spayed. However, if your dog is not neutered or spayed, the fee will be $20.

Please be aware that any dogs registered before April 1, 2024, will have their registration expire in May of the same year. Licensing your pet is an important responsibility as a pet owner, as it helps to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. By licensing your pet, you are helping us to keep track of all the pets in our town and provide better services and support. We encourage all pet owners in Mantua to take advantage of this clinic and get their pets vaccinated and licensed. It is a convenient and affordable way to fulfill these important obligations.

Thank you for your attention, and we look forward to seeing you and your furry friends at the pet vaccination and licensing clinic.

Sincerely,

Town of Mantua

Preventing Frozen Pipes

Dear Residents of Mantua,

We hope this notice finds you well. As the cold weather continues to grip our town, we would like to remind you of the importance of taking precautions to prevent your pipes from freezing and bursting.

To safeguard your plumbing system during these freezing temperatures, we kindly request that you let your water faucets trickle. Allowing a small, steady flow of water through your pipes can help prevent them from freezing and potentially bursting.

By keeping your faucets running at a slow drip, you can maintain a constant flow of water, which helps to prevent the build-up of pressure within the pipes. This simple measure can significantly reduce the risk of costly damage to your plumbing system. We will continue to monitor the weather conditions closely, and once the risk of freezing has passed, we will provide further updates regarding when you can discontinue the practice of letting your faucets trickle.

In the meantime, we encourage you to take other necessary precautions to protect your home from the cold. These include insulating exposed pipes, keeping your home adequately heated, and opening cabinet doors to allow warm air to circulate around pipes located near exterior walls.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office. We are here to assist you and provide any necessary guidance.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping to prevent frozen pipes and ensuring the well-being of our community. Together, we can overcome the challenges posed by the cold weather.

 Stay warm and stay safe!

Sincerely,

Town of Mantua
